Is Limen for you?
- You're a conceptual artist, mixed media artist, land artist, visual artist, filmmaker, photographer, researcher, designer, illustrator, composer, community maker or writer who needs time and space to develop a body of work
- You're drawn to questions of memory — personal, collective, or both — and want space to work with them, not just around them
- A political and queer reading of your material feels urgent, whether it's already central to your practice or something you're just starting to explore
- You want to work near other artists without losing your own solitude
- You're curious about land, place, and what a specific territory can teach you — rather than treating your location as scenery
You don't need prior experience with anthropological or ethnographic methods. You need curiosity, and a willingness to let two weeks actually change the work.
No public showing required — the residency prioritizes process over presentation.
